Resume

Professional Summary

Creative UX and web designer with experience developing digital experiences, websites, and content strategies for startups, nonprofits, and small businesses. I specialize in building clear, user-centered interfaces and guiding organizations through launches using research, prototyping, and iterative design. My background spans UX design, content strategy, video production, and web development support, allowing me to work across both creative and technical teams to deliver cohesive results.

Design Approach

I advocate for accessibility-aware and inclusive design, integrating usability and WCAG/ARIA best practices into layouts, content structure, and user flows. To support consistent quality, I created a proprietary website evaluation system—CEWQI (Cara’s Extensive Web Quality Index)—to assess usability, clarity, accessibility awareness, and performance. My approach blends strategic thinking with hands-on execution to improve user engagement and business outcomes.
